Creating Kyoto's first global human resources.

Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS) was founded in 1969 in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, and established a new campus in Uzumasa in 2015.
In 2019, marking its 50th anniversary, KUAS welcomed Mr. Shigenobu Nagamori, the founder of Nidec Corporation, as Chairman of the Board and changed its name to "Kyoto University of Advanced Science."
In April 2020, the university launched the Faculty of Engineering, offering cutting-edge technical programs taught entirely in English. Today, one out of every seven students on campus is an international student.
By 2025, the Faculty of Bioenvironmental Sciences and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration will introduce international programs (fully English-taught courses), further accelerating KUAS's global expansion.

No matter how rapidly society changes in the future, KUAS aims to nurture individuals who can think independently and express their ideas with confidence.
KUAS fosters talent equipped with practical English skills, advanced expertise, and a broad global perspective, providing the foundational abilities necessary for success in international society.
