As a common theme of the 3 departments which are “Department of Clinical Psychology”, “Department of Childhood Education”, and “Department of Sport Science and Health”, our goal is to cultivate human resource capable of supporting others. Our aim is to develop students who can contribute to mental and physical health of others and nuture child development.

Japan and other countries in the world are now confronting various economic problems such as widening divisions in wealth, economic crises, and environmental devastation. In this faculty, we introduce students to a system “called module units” which enable students to choose classes depending on their future career choices.

Students will study these subjects broadly in first year fundamental education classes, and from the second year, students will choose from each course, depending on which field they want to study for their future careers. Using the sub-major system, students can study subjects they are interested in beyond this course.

We offer learn-by-doing education by linking classes with local companies and the community, and offer a curriculum focused on attaining professional qualifications. Students will take introductory classes that will help build their basic knowledge to become members of society. After this, students will choose from 2 courses, “Tourism” and “Regional Development”, depending on their interests and concerns. Students will learn about and practice course matter in a structured and practical way, and will obtain the knowledge and methods necessary for regional vitalization and tourism promotion.

Students will study and research the professional field from 3 courses, based on science, science and biology, and biology and food chemistry, and learn to succeed in these fields with the relevant knowledge and techniques.

We will nurture talent who can develop living space in cities in the face of modern problems such as strengthening of country landscape, recycling type town planning, green infrastructure, and effective utilization of living environment stocks.
